| Abstract | Sonadezi Long Thanh Shareholding Company (SLC) is one of the subsidiaries of
Sonadezi Bien Hoa (Mother company). Since its inception in 2003, SLC, a shareholding
company, has constantly developed and expanded its production and service operations
over the years. The year of 2006 marked an important leap in terms of its integrated
business operations and staff training activities as well. The company's total revenue of the
year reached 250 billion VND making it to be one out of the Sonadezi group's leading
businesses in terms of revenue.
Long Thanh Industrial Zone has achieved some of the satisfactory results in last
three years. However, according to the developing business plan from now to 2015, the
company needs to build at least 02 industrial zones with area of around 500 hectare for
each one. According to the view of developing plan to 2015, Dong Nai province has 34
established industrial zones with total area of 12,779 hectare. So, how to invest and
develop an industrial zone effectively in fierce competition market?
In term of this research, I will focus to identify the problems faced by SLC on
developing a new industrial zone in the strong competitive environment in Dong Nai
Province. And then the selection and recommendation for solving selected problem will be
done at the end of the research |
