| Abstract | Purpose – This project aims to the construction of a new development strategy for PVFCCo.
Design/ Methodology/ Approach – The project report uses quantitative/qualitative approach with questionnaires and interview among referent employees and some managers to understand and analysis about the company’s strategy and the situation of its business.
Findings – PVFCCo is a Joint stock company, in which PetroVietnam holds over 61% of its equity, it is significant to find that the company's strategy is very important for production and business efficiency of the company as well as profits earned toward PetroVietnam. Then, the assessment of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats along with the environmental analysis results has been provided using these tools to shape the development strategy of the company, and improve and enhance business efficiency. The development strategy chosen by QSPM matrix is the product diversification strategy in the field of manufacturing and trading chemicals. The solutions have been given to implement the company's development strategy, improve business efficiency, human resources, marketing, finance, and technology, etc.
Practical Implications – The paper emphasizes on the factors affecting production and business of Company, including internal and external factors, competitive advantages as well as the weakness of company to overcome, compares strategies to find the best optimum strategy. This document contains the new concepts as well as research methodology on the best effective strategy and suggestions on new strategy and measures for implementation.
