| Abstract | According to statistics, there are 15 enterprises electricity production are listed on the
Vietnam stock exchange and most have positive business results over the past year (2012).
Include more than half of the enterprises directly under the Electricity of Vietnam Group
(EVN). According to the analysis of the Vietnamese securities companies, overall gross
profit margin of enterprises producing electricity in 2012 were high, averaging 55%. At the
same time the average selling price in 2012 was up 5% of the profit of power producers
have increased sharply.
The increase in electricity prices of EVN will definitely increase the revenue of the
enterprises producing electricity in 2013. However, the profitability of individual
enterprises has increased or not depends heavily on the management, investment and
operation costs.
The electricity company in 2013 has many advantages when approved by the Government
to increase electricity prices. The most important sector of the company is to good
management in order to minimize wastage and reduce operating costs stop production.
And that is the main reason of this research. This research paper aims to analyze and
identify shortcomings and key successful factors of cost management in Campha thermal
power joint-stock company.
Cost management of Campha thermal power joint-stock company was analyzed in this
research in order to identify problems and root causes in cost management and on basis of
that the strategic objectives, action plans are designed and performed to assure bottom line
of Campha thermal power joint-stock company.
This research was conducted on basis of available data of Campha thermal power jointstock
company and documents retrieved from internet.
The tight cost management became very essential in the more intensifying competitive
environment so the most general recommendation for Campha thermal power joint-stock
company in the current stage is that it has to implement immediately management
accounting system and specially, cost management system. |
