| Abstract | More and more real and industrial estate projects have been developed in Vietnam in last
twelve years, increasing the competition in this critical industry. The timely completion of
these projects plays an important role in business performance which may in fact
sometimes affect directly the success or failure of a company.
The Corporation for Development of Bien Hoa Industrial Zone (Sonadezi) – a company
specializing in real and industrial estate business – for many different reasons, has
frequently faced the problem of delay in project performance. The frequent extensions of
project duration result in reduced competitive advantage of the company's products and
services, negatively influencing its operational efficiency.
This research will analyze the internal and external environment of Sonadezi, the
performance of the Project Department and the problem it faced. The research will finally
put forward the possible solutions to improve the project performance of Sonadezi, namely
the problem of delay in project performance would be minimized and the completion
duration of projects would be shortened. |
