| Abstract | In today’s economic integration, quality of the products is one of the most important
elements, which helps Ha Tien 1 Cement Joint Stock Company enhances its
competitiveness in the regional market.
This Thesis focuses on analyzing the strengths and weakness of the Laboratory and Quality
Control Department. It is a Department which has the role of supervising and controlling
cement quality of the Company. From the findings, the Department will take advantage of
its strengths to maintain and develop them; the weaknesses will be corrected and improved
for the purpose of making quality control activities much better.
The Thesis also analyses and identifies the causes which have a negative impact on quality
control activities of the Department through the application of analyzing tools such as
Concept Map, Fishbone and Principle Pareto 80/20 to spot the main reasons, then
recommends short-term and long- term solutions in accordance with the current situation
and strategic objectives of the Department |
