| Abstract | People are the vital resource of the organizations, without people, the organization itself
also cannot exist. The aviation in Vietnam is still young and under developed, and to some
extent, the manpower is still limited. Since 2006, with the fact of Vietnam joining to WTO,
with the new opening up policies, the Government allowed the private sectors to enter to
this business, there were 04 new airlines granted licenses so the competition becomes
tougher between the Vietnamese Airlines so the human resource is the important concern
of the airlines. As a result, training and development are recommended to generate good
people resource. The good training system is an absolute need for all airlines to enhance
the competitive advantage of the market.
Training system is very important in the aviation industry and requires the huge investment
during the operating time. In the case of Jetstar Pacific Airlines, the effective training
system will help to foster Human resource capability during operation and promise the
success of company.
The company objective is to become the most preferable airlines in Southeast Asia. The
people strategy will not be independent of training and development. Therefore, Jetstar
Pacific Airlines has to review the current status of the training activities, identify the
improvement areas and strengthen the training system.
From the qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, the researcher collected
information and analyzed the implementation of JPA current system: How the training
planning, programs, qualification of the internal trainer team, teaching plans are organized
and which are the elements that affect the learning organization environment. The
recommendations are given to the training system for future use. |
