| Abstract | This research work mainly focuses on the idea of a prosumer in a microgrid and how he can
benefit himself and others living in the microgrid through the exchange of power and
resources. The main focus of this work is to make clear understanding of the implications of
sharing of power and as well as integrating some of the concepts of the future like the
integration of renewables and so on. This is an important study that establishes a clear
understanding of how a prosumer can exists in microgrid. The first forefront of this study
describes how this is beneficial to the society and a scenario like this is inevitable. Hence
the next part of this study mainly deals with, in detail how a prosumer can exist
independently and stay connected to the grid and also supply the main grid with power and
be islanded whenever it is viable. In a scenario like future it is important to make use of the
power of machine learning to the core and even skip optimization itself and rely on artificial
intelligence completely to run things optimally. |
