| Abstract | After more 20 years of innovation, the Vietnam’s economy has developed strongly.
However, impacted by recession of the world economy in 2008-2009, the world economy
seemed to be fast-recovered, but in fact in European region the emerging economies,
developing countries began a reduced growth, high inflation, excessive exploitation of
natural resources, damaged environment, large growing division between rich and poor
and unemployment that impacted to Vietnam’s economy.
With the country development, the cement industry had grown up fast over 2 past decades.
In recent years, the global economic downturns the government of Viet Nam tightens the
public investment. Meanwhile, for Vietnam’s cement industry the supply is over demand;
the input costs are increased that make a fierce competition among cement enterprises.
To exist and develop in the new conditions, the enterprises should build a suitable strategy
based on study, analysis of business environment to take advantage of opportunities,
promote strengthens and limit weakness as well; and also to create the competitive
sustainable advantages. The business environment changes rapidly, the global
competiveness requires the Company to be always active and creative in order to adapt to
those changes.
From that fact, the author makes a specific strategy that is suitable with the major
directions of VICEM’s strategy to help the Company having a clear business orientation
and target, mobilizing efficient sources which make and develop the Company to be a main support of VICEM house in that there is a strategy of new product developing. |
