| Abstract | The increasing in usage of recycling fibre furnish is more concerned nowadays in pulp and
paper industry. However, stickies containing in recycled pulp bring about big problems in
the papermaking processes such as sheet break in papermachine, speck, linting in priniting
and printing quality, etc. To solve or abate these problems, post flotation cell, PFI mill,
and chemical were examined. The results of the experiment showed that the post flotation
cell can effectively remove the stickies. PFI mill can hide some stickies inside the paper.
However, it seems that chemicals used in this experiment have no effect on stickies
removal. |
