the relevance of issues stated in the framework.

that leads to better performance of joint ventures in Nepal. The analysis has done on all the
three process steps of joint ventures, which are partner selection, negotiation and
management.

facilities and cross-cultural management. On the other hand key success factors for foreign
partners are political contact of partner, ability of marketing and distribution network of local
partner, customer service and foreign exchange management. Success factors for both
partners are effective communication between parties, quality of local personnel and
development of local managers.
