| Abstract | This research study is conducted with the objective of identifying the critical success of small
and medium enterprises in Vietnam. First the research reviews some of the previous studies
on the topic for having an understanding of the critical success factors of SMEs in general.
In the next step, with the main objective of the study is focused on SMEs in Vietnam, five
ยท selected successful enterprises are interviewed in an attempt to identify the critical factors
that has lead to the success of their business. The research comes out with ten factors to be
found from these cases. The findings show that experience seems to be the most critical
factor, followed by a good business plan, and special competitive advantage. Entrepreneurs
are recommended to take into account these factors, among others, in preparing business plan
for new venture as well as existing business. |
