| Abstract | Fuzzy Conceptual Graphs (FCGs) are a graphical system of logic which can represent
and reason with uncertain knowledge. An FCG program is a set of definite clauses of FCGs
and can be applied in fields such as fuzzy control. FCG programs have been formulated by
using the logic programming paradigm, which is formal but too rigid for what purposes. As a
result, the FCG program theory developed is inflexible.
This study employs a more general and flexible framework, the Declarative Program
(DP) theory, to formulate FCG programs. A specialization system, based on the Beta rules of
Conceptual Graphs and declarative semantics of FCG programs is defined. Reasoning and
computations in FCG programs are carried out by means of equivalent transformations and
propagation of the overall mismatching degree of concepts with fuzzy measure. |
