| Abstract | As a result of the recent growth in infrastmctural investment in the count1y :financial
adviso1y se1vice for project :financing has become a new se1vice provided by the :financial
institutions in Thailand. The market of this service is in the growth phase due to the
profitability of the se1vice which has influenced the competition in this business to become
greater.
This research first aims at understanding the process of providing the new se1vice, its
role in project :financing, and its market strncture in Thailand.
This will be illustrated by the investigation of the se1vice provided by Bangkok Bank
Public Co., Ltd., Thailand's largest commercial bank. This business line of the bank is then
analyzed using the P01ter's structural model for competitive advantages, which result in
specific recommendations on improving the se1vice at the bank. |
