| Abstract | The relation between the chemical prope1ties of precipitation and the wind directions of
500mb ~ 800mb on the coast of the Japan Sea is investigated.
The following results are obtained.
(1) Non sea salt originate SO 2
- ion deposition is increased from September to February by the
West to North West wind, although the source of that cannot be elucidated from only wind direction
tendency.
(2) Non sea salt originate Cu2
t is increased from February to June because the Kosa Aerosol
come flying over more frequently by the West. to North West. wind in this season.
These facts suggest that anion material like so2-4 and cation material like ca2
t are brought
to Japan Sea coast area by the wind from West to North West wind as a result of long distance
transport phenomenon. |
