| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to apply the concept of the project management for the
sculpturing of a Buddha image at Khao Chee Chan. The information is collected, the conditions
of the site are studied and the solutions for project management were proposed as a model for
use in the construction stage. Based on the model for construction management and the construction schedule proposed in this study, Six major work arc identified namely, Access and
facilities, Rock blasting and removal, Rock stability improvement, Scaffolding erection,
Sculpturing and Landscaping and finishing. The model solution for managing a project have
been presented in forms of chrut and contracting systems. The relationship between managing
system and the client has been presented including its role and authority. The planning and
scheduling function have been achieved by the arrow diagram and the bar chart presented. The
compu~ation is performed using the ยท concept of. the critical path method .. Critical activities are
indicated and the total project duration is estimated. Site organization charts are introduced for
site management. |
