AbstractLevelling of resources in networl<s is a very common topic in operations research. However, most of the work done concerns the activity on arrow network. There is very little work done about t he levelling problem for precedence networl<. A study on the levelling of resources for the precedence network has been carried out a nd a heuristic algorithm has been suc cessfully developed to handle this problem. The a lgorithm is then written in MS Fortran language and is linl<ed with the existing subroutines developed by former researchers at AIT to feather the software PREC-NET to become a fully computerized package. Now PREC- NET can ha ndle the problems of CPM a nalysis, graphic generation, cash flow generation, resources scheduling and resource levelling analysis.
