| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to determine whether a helicopter service between downtown Bangkok and Don Muang Airport
would be an economically feasible means of transport for the
public. To study this question, a survey of passengers arriving
at and departing from Don Muang was conducted during the period
14th through 27th August, 1961, from which an analysis of the requirement for improved service was made. Also, a financial analysis was made, based upon information obtained from foreign helicopter operators and manufacturers. Finally, the conclusions and
recommendations of the writer concerning this problem are reported. |
