AbstractAir pollution in Bangkok is becoming a major problem as with big cities all over the world. The main purpose of this study is to develop a simple micromodel of Bangkok streets by using a box model which will allow the calculation of carbon monoxide concentration without the use of computer programming. In addition, the relationship and effect of wind velocity is formulated in order that it will be possible to predict CO concentration. The value of CO levels in Bangkok is found experimentally to be in the range of 5.5 to 27.2 ppm.
