AbstractThis study is to analyze the mathematical! model derived by Chancellor in order to make decision on t ne optimal-sized tractor for single-tractor farm, multiple-tractor farm and tractor contractor business that should be selected for Thai agriculture. A computer program was developed for the model. The result of the analysis for the available economic input parameters are presented in the form of graphs. It was found that the optimum-size for both single-tract or and multiple-tractor for Thailand is small, for tractor contract or business the optimum size is even smaller.
