AbstractThis study includes the application of more fundamental concepts on the design of the biological reactor for the aerobic treatment of the organic wastewater. The synthetic (glucose) and industrial (Pepsi Cola) waste have been used as the carbon source. The operated temperature is 30°c. The parameters measured in this study, have been compared with the others (based on the three different approaches, namely, "Monod", "Eckenfelder", and "McKinney"). They were compared with those obtained in the previous works performed at 20°c to study the temperature effect. Besides temperature, there was also the effect of difference in sewage origins used. Also, the values, obtained from an industrial waste, were compared to the synthetic waste by their difference in nature.
