| Abstract | This thesis presents the results of an investigation on the pore pressure response of artificially sedimented clay (kaolinite) and Bangkok clay under different drainage conditions and the pore pressure response of artificially sedimented clay (kaolinite) under different consolidation pressures, load increments and Kc. It was found that there were no significant effects on pore pressure response due to consolidation pressure, load increment and drainage conditions between undrained and drained conditions. However, there existed a higher pore pressure response under anisotropic consolidation conditions and in the partially drained condition. |
