| Abstract | Theory and Programming methods for a general purpose Electronic Analog Computer are outlined and a detailed description of the EAL TR-20R Analog Computer housed at the SEATO Graduate School of Engineering as well as of its operation is given. Finally, the computer solutions for a number of typical problems in Applied Mechanics are developed. The computer research potential is demonstrated by analyzing the response of a simple, prismatic beam with time-dependent
elastic properties subject to dynamic loading |
