| Abstract | This study aims at identifying the needs of improving . irrigation management through the operation of the main system in an efficient way. Effort is focused\' on the mathematical representation of the complex
hydraulics of flow in an irrigation canal system and various ways of implementing the numerical solution methods in personal computers. The operational problems of two typical irrigation projects\' main systems in Thailand have also been studied. Various field measurements
for calibration of structures as well as model validation are suggested . |
