| Abstract | A computer program for the yield line analysis of orthotropic reinforced concrete slabs is. developed and applied to the following problems:
(a) automatic design of uniformly loaded polygonal slabs of up to four sides, which may be free or supported with any degree of restraint;
(b) investigation of the most economical design using the moment-volume concept, including slabs with banded reinforcement; and
(c) approximate treatment of corner effects. |
