AbstractThis qualitative study delves into challenges, motivations, and advantages tied to integrating Construction 4.0 in Thailand's Oil and Gas construction. Focused on industry professionals' perspectives, it unveils nuanced factors influencing digital technology adoption, exploring barriers like technological complexities, organizational resistance, and regulatory constraints. Through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, the research delves into practical experiences and perceptions of these obstacles. Highlighting drivers behind Construction 4.0 adoption, the study reveals industry players' motivations, such as efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved project outcomes, shaping the sector. Examining tangible benefits, it underscores the transformative impact on project collaboration, workflow optimization, and overall performance. Drawing from qualitative data, the research captures real-world experiences of professionals engaged in these innovative practices. Utilizing a purposive sampling approach, the study gathers context-specific insights from Thai Oil and Gas construction projects. The findings not only contribute academically but also provide practical recommendations for industry practitioners and policymakers navigating Construction 4.0's evolution in Thailand's Oil and Gas construction sector.
